Noniams waterhole near Halali Restcamp during the dry season in Etosha National Park

Noniams takes its name from the Hai||om word for the shepherd’s bush, Boscia foetida, which grows nearby.

About: During the dry season most of the game species prefer nearby Goas so it is a waste of time to visit Noniams, although large herds of black-faced impala can be seen in the area en route to Elands Drive.

Water Source: Contact spring

Water Availability: Dry, but the small pan fills with water during the rains.

Game: Poor viewing
