Ondongab waterhole near Okaukuejo Restcamp during the dry season in Etosha National Park

The name Ondongab probably comes from the Hai||om word ‘/andommie’, which means ‘the place where two valleys or rivers come together’.

About: The grazing around this area is good despite the lack of water during the dry season. During the rainy season large numbers of game can be spotted here.

Water Source: Contact spring.

Water Availability: Active only during or just after the rains.
