Sueda waterhole near Halali Restcamp - dries up during the winter in Etosha National Park

Sueda waterhole takes its name from the ink bush, Sueda articulata, which grows in the vicinity.

About: This waterhole is situated in a depression on the western side of the parking area which serves the Sueda, Salvadora and Charitsaub cluster of waterholes.

Water Source:  Sueda is a natural contact spring with a very high salt content of 3 000 mg/l and most game prefer to drink at nearby Salvadora.
